Our debate on the topic of genetic engineering seemed to engage the class. So, if you would like to continue these debates, we need to find topics that will be "debatable" and will challenge you to improve your thinking, researching, writing, and speaking skills.
Your assignment, as announced today, is to brainstorm and suggest several debate topics (minimum of 2 topics; max of 3).
Deadline: Tuesday 1/18/11

I'd enjoy debating about something recently discussed in congress, or a large scale issue in government. Perhaps something similar to the healthcare controversy (Even though it's been a while, it's still an on-going issue)
